The death toll from the Russian airstrike in Kramatorsk has risen

Russian troops carried out an airstrike on Kramatorsk, dropping three guided bombs on the city. Three people were killed in the attack, and two others were injured; one of the injured is in critical condition. In addition to the human casualties, the strike caused significant damage. Residential buildings, garages, shopping pavilions, and cars were damaged.

 

On Saturday, July 18, the Russian army attacked Kramatorsk with three aerial bombs. According to the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor’s Office, the strike occurred at 4:56 p.m. Law enforcement officials reported that the occupiers used FAB-250 aerial bombs equipped with a universal guidance and correction module (UMPK) against the civilian population. Three men, aged 51, 60, and 61, were killed in the attack. They died at the scene.

Two other people were injured. Medical personnel diagnosed a 37-year-old man with blast injuries, a closed head injury, a concussion, and a brain contusion. A 59-year-old woman was also injured. She was hospitalized in serious condition. “As a result of the shelling, three men aged 51, 60, and 61 were killed at the scene. The strike also damaged two apartment buildings, 20 garages, seven retail pavilions, and several cars in the city. In response to the Russian attack, the Kramatorsk District Prosecutor’s Office has opened a criminal case under Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine—violation of the laws and customs of war, resulting in the loss of human life.

Law enforcement officials are documenting the consequences of yet another Russian strike and continue to gather evidence of a war crime. Information regarding the consequences of the attack is subject to change. The Donetsk Regional Prosecutor’s Office reported this on Telegram.

Over the past 18 days, the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ unmanned aerial vehicle units have struck 83 energy infrastructure sites in the occupied territories and deep within enemy lines. Robert “Madyar” Brovdi, commander of the UAS, stated that the last 12 targets were struck in just the past three days.
