The number of casualties in Kremenchuk following the rocket attack has risen to 41

In Kremenchuk, Poltava Oblast, the number of people affected by the Russian missile attack has risen to 41. Two people were killed, and dozens more were injured. The strike damaged apartment buildings and private homes.

 

In Kremenchuk, the number of casualties continues to rise following a massive Russian missile attack. As of 5:00 p.m., 41 people are known to have been injured as a result of the strike. Two fatalities have also been reported. Earlier reports indicated 34 casualties, but that number has since risen to 41.

Which buildings were damaged

The Russian attack caused significant damage to residential buildings in Kremenchuk. Specifically, five apartment buildings were damaged. These buildings contain a total of 431 apartments. In addition, 35 private homes were damaged. Another six private homes were completely destroyed.

Relevant emergency services are on the scene. Experts continue to assess the consequences of the strike and document the damage. The extent of the destruction may be revised, as information on the number of damaged structures and casualties is often updated following such attacks as rescue workers and medical personnel continue their efforts.

The Russian strike on Kremenchuk was part of a massive attack on Ukraine. Residential areas in the city came under fire, resulting in civilian casualties. So far, two people are known to have been killed and 41 injured. Significant damage to residential buildings has also been reported. This was announced by Vitaliy Dyakivnych, head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration.

As a reminder, at least two people were killed in Kyiv as a result of an overnight attack.

Russia struck Zaporizhzhia’s transportation infrastructure.

Russia also struck Dnipro with ballistic missiles, damaging a facility.
