The Kremlin has responded to Zelenskyy's proposal to meet with Putin at the G7

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov has announced Moscow’s first official response to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s proposal to hold a bilateral meeting

The Ukrainian president proposed organizing talks with Vladimir Putin at the G7 summit, which is currently taking place in France.

Journalists asked the Russian dictator’s spokesperson whether an official invitation had been received through special channels to organize such a meeting in France.

Dmitry Peskov categorically denied the existence of any official communications from Kyiv.

“Of course not. And as you know, there are no official channels between Moscow and Kyiv,” stated the official representative of the Russian side.

In addition, the press secretary of the Russian president added that Vladimir Putin had allegedly already conveyed all his conditions and proposals to the Ukrainian leader.

According to him, Moscow’s position has been articulated and conveyed to Ukraine’s leadership several times in a row.

The Kremlin representative once again emphasized that Russia is ready for negotiations only on its own terms and in its capital. At the same time, he traditionally used propaganda clichés regarding the legitimate Ukrainian government.
