The Kremlin has responded to the long-range plan for June 2026 approved by Zelenskyy
The Kremlin has officially commented on the new long-term plan for June 2026, which was previously approved by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
The press secretary of the Russian dictator, Dmitry Peskov, issued a statement accusing the Ukrainian side of unwillingness to compromise and resolve the military conflict through diplomatic means.
Official Moscow traditionally attempts to shift the blame for the ongoing hostilities and the lack of dialogue onto Ukraine’s leadership.
The Russian authorities view negatively any steps taken by Kyiv aimed at strengthening its defense capabilities and expanding the range of its strikes against enemy military targets.
Representatives of the aggressor country use such events to justify their own aggressive policy.
“These are not the kind of statements that would foster a spirit conducive to peace negotiations. Once again, this underscores who is the main obstacle to returning to the path of peace,” he noted.
