In Crimea, thermal power plants and gas facilities caught fire following overnight explosions

Reports of fires are coming in from several locations simultaneously, and local residents are reporting explosions in various parts of Crimea.

According to sources, the Tavriya Thermal Power Plant caught fire following the explosions. “The Tavriya Thermal Power Plant is on fire,” the report states.
Fires have also been reported at gas distribution stations near the villages of Lokhivka in the Radianskyi District and Zhuravlivka near Hvardiyiske. Separately, a fire was reported at the “TES” oil and gas storage facility near Bakhchisaray.
In addition, fires have been reported near the Henichesk Bridge on the Arabat Spit, as well as at the railway entrance to the “Crimean Titan” plant in Armiansk. Local residents are also reporting a series of explosions in Simferopol, Perevalne, Sevastopol, and the Perekop district.
