Crimea to Reduce the Number of Trains to Russia

UA NEWS 25 June 2026 10:58
Crimea to Reduce the Number of Trains to Russia

The number of “Tavria” trains running to Russia from the temporarily occupied Crimea is being reduced.

Now, seven trains will run to and from Crimea daily.

These include:

Train No. 7/8 St. Petersburg–Sevastopol;
Train No. 27/28 Moscow–Simferopol;
Train No. 91/92 Moscow–Sevastopol;
Train No. 315/316 Adler–Simferopol;
Train No. 179/180 St. Petersburg–Yevpatoria;
Train No. 453/454 Moscow–Simferopol;
Trains No. 17/18 and No. 167/168 Moscow–Simferopol.

Aksyonov clarified that these trains run to and from the Kerch-South station.

Other trains that operated during the season will be gradually canceled over the next two weeks.

Previously, the occupation administration stated that 14 pairs of trains were operating on the Crimean route, so the current decision effectively means a significant reduction in service.

This was announced by the so-called head of the Crimean occupation administration, Sergey Aksyonov.

In addition, a large-scale closure of gas stations has begun in the temporarily occupied Crimea due to a critical shortage of petroleum products. The fuel supply problem has even affected the largest regional fuel networks, including the companies TES and ATAN.

As a reminder, the fuel crisis in Russia is worsening: gasoline is running out at gas stations and lines are growing longer.

Russia has allowed the use of lower-quality gasoline due to the fuel crisis.
