A fire broke out at Russian air defense positions near Kerch in Crimea
On July 9, in the temporarily occupied Crimea, a fire was reported at Russian air defense positions near Kerch.
According to the monitoring resource “Crimean Wind,” the fire broke out on Mount Khroni near the village of Glazivka, north of Kerch, where Russian air defense forces are stationed.
“Subscribers reported one or two explosions that were heard in Kerch. Also, a fire continues on tankers in the Sea of Azov, unless this is the result of a new attack,” the report states.



The cause of the fire is currently unknown. The Russian occupation authorities have not yet commented on the incident.
This was reported by the monitoring group of the Telegram channel “Crimean Wind,” citing satellite imagery.
As a reminder, Ukraine has claimed to have struck 19 Russian tankers carrying fuel for Crimea.
Emergency roaming has been launched in Crimea due to power outages.
In the temporarily occupied Crimea, amid blackouts, hotspots have begun to appear where people can use Wi-Fi and charge their devices using a generator.
