The Ministry of Defense reported that the relevant commanders had taken note of the situation, and the brigade command had taken the matter under control.
“The commander of the 14th Brigade has taken this matter under control. Despite logistical challenges, they are trying to resolve the issue of supplying the troops and rotating them out,” the response stated.
The ministry also noted that such situations are unacceptable, but acknowledged the difficult conditions in certain sectors of the front.
“The situation in various sectors of the front can be quite critical,” the Ministry of Defense added.
It is also reported that the brigade and corps command maintains contact with the soldiers’ families.
