Military facilities in the Moscow Region may have been targeted: likely UAV targets identified
Explosions were reported overnight in the Moscow Region, and facilities linked to the Russian military-industrial complex may have been among the potential targets of drones operated by the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
Specifically, this refers to several strategic facilities in the region. In Krasnozavodsk, a likely target could have been the Krasnozavodsk Chemical Plant, which manufactures military-grade products, including components for ammunition and missile systems.
In Klimovsk, attention was drawn to the Central Research Institute of Precision Engineering (TsNDI-Tochmash)—one of Russia’s key centers for the development of small arms, ammunition, and military equipment.
Another possible target is the Central Research Institute of Special Machinery (TsNDI-SM) in Khotkovo, which is engaged in the development and testing of ammunition and special weapons.
Information regarding the consequences and other possible impact sites is currently being verified.

Moscow reported a record-breaking drone attack.
On the night of July 7, Ukraine carried out a massive drone attack on Russian territory. The Belgorod and Moscow regions were targeted; Russian authorities reported that air defense systems were operating continuously and that several airports were temporarily restricted.
As a reminder, Ukrainian analysts claim to have identified a vulnerability in Russia’s combat aviation defense system.
