On the evening of June 26, Russian occupation forces launched a drone strike on the town of Semenivka in the Novhorod-Siverskyi District of Chernihiv Oblast.
As a result of the enemy attack, which took place near civilian infrastructure, a 57-year-old local resident sustained shrapnel wounds.
The injured man was promptly hospitalized to receive the necessary medical care.
The Russian army continues to systematically shell border towns in the Chernihiv region, using various types of weapons in its attacks.
This time, the invaders employed a treacherous tactic, directing a strike drone directly at a crowd of people.
The explosion occurred near a logistics operator’s office, where civilians were present at the time.
In addition to injuring a civilian, the blast wave and debris significantly damaged a private vehicle that was located near the epicenter of the strike.
Emergency services and law enforcement officials immediately began working at the scene to address the aftermath.
Currently, the relevant agencies are actively investigating all the details and the exact extent of the damage caused by this airstrike.
