Russian air defense forces reported that they had destroyed 327 drones overnight
Last night, Russian air defense forces reported that they had repelled a massive air attack, during which 327 unmanned aerial vehicles were destroyed.
The drones were detected and neutralized over a large number of Russian regions, indicating a significant expansion of the geographical scope of strikes against military and infrastructure targets.
According to an official statement from the Russian Ministry of Defense, enemy air defense systems were active over the territories of Astrakhan, Belgorod, Bryansk, Volgograd, Voronezh, Kaluga, Kursk, Leningrad, Nizhny Novgorod, Novgorod, Oryol, Pskov, Rostov, Saratov, Tambov, and Tula regions.
There are also reports of air targets being intercepted in the Moscow region and the Krasnodar Krai.
Separately, the Russian agency notes the destruction of drones over the territory of the temporarily occupied Crimea.
In addition, strikes were recorded over the waters of the Azov and Black Seas, which Russia uses for the logistical support of its armed forces.
