Tax office building damaged in Russian attack on Shostka
In the city of Shostka, Sumy region, a building of the state tax inspection was damaged as a result of a massive Russian attack on April 3.
Information about the extent of the destruction and possible casualties is being clarified.
This was reported by Acting Head of the State Tax Service, Lesia Karnaukh.
“The facade of the building has been damaged, windows were shattered, and offices were affected. But most importantly, no people were injured,” she emphasized.
According to Karnaukh, this is not the first time tax office buildings in the Sumy region have been damaged due to enemy attacks — including in Sumy, Konotop, and Buryn.
“Due to the difficult security situation and significant damage to buildings, the operation of tax service access points in Krasnopillia, Hlukhiv, and Velyka Pysarivka has currently been suspended,” she noted.
