The number of injured in Sloviansk after the airstrike has risen to 20

As of 4.30 p.m., the number of people injured in Sloviansk as a result of the morning airstrike by Russian forces has increased to 20.

This was reported by the Head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Vadym Filashkin.

Local services continue to provide medical assistance to the injured and are assessing the scale of the destruction.

“The number of injured in Sloviansk has increased to 20, while the number of those killed has not changed. This is the information as of 15:30. I remind you that this morning the Russians dropped three aerial bombs on the city — at least four people were killed and 20 were injured,” Filashkin noted.

He also pointed out that as a result of the enemy attack in the city, 12 multi-storey buildings, a private house, an administrative building, and 20 cars were damaged.

However, the head of the regional administration added that the final consequences of the shelling are still being determined.

It is recalled that the Russian Federation carried out an airstrike on Sloviansk, leaving casualties and 11 injured.

During March 9, Russian troops carried out 44 shelling attacks on the Sumy region. Thirty settlements came under fire, and a television tower and energy infrastructure facilities in the region were damaged. Local services are working to restore the damage.

In addition, in the village of Malynivka in the Kharkiv region, emergency rescue and search operations are ongoing after a Russian strike on a warehouse building.

It is also recalled that the occupiers attacked two districts of the Dnipropetrovsk region with artillery and unmanned aerial vehicles.
