Loud explosions have been heard for some time now in the temporarily occupied city of Kerch, located on the Crimean Peninsula.
The situation in the region remains extremely tense, and local residents report serious concern over the prolonged shelling.
Amid security risks and a potential air threat, the occupying administration decided to immediately block traffic across the Kerch Bridge.
The sounds of powerful explosions have been continuous in the city for about thirty minutes, causing panic among the local population.
According to available information, the echoes of gunfire and explosions can be clearly heard in various districts of Kerch, indicating active combat operations in the skies over the peninsula. Eyewitnesses note that the invaders are attempting to repel an air attack.
“Explosions have been heard in Kerch for about 30 minutes now; Russian air defense is active, according to subscribers,” the channel’s report states.
Due to the threat of a strike on a strategic logistics facility, the invaders have implemented emergency security measures at the crossing.
