Ukrainian brigades have begun receiving heavy attack drones
The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense is expanding its program to ensure a guaranteed supply of equipment to units that are directly holding the line and participating in combat operations. As part of this initiative, Ukrainian brigades have begun receiving heavy “middle strike” drones, as well as ground-based robotic systems.
In the second phase, ground-based robotic systems and heavy “middle strike” drones are being added to the monthly supply of the most in-demand UAVs.
The range of equipment includes virtually all types of ground-based robotic systems and “heavy” middle-strike drones capable of striking targets at operational depth. Units holding the front line will be supplied with these assets in a certain guaranteed quantity, but taking into account the intensity of combat operations.
It is known that various types of logistical and combat UAVs, including kamikaze drones, will be provided to units of the Armed Forces, the National Guard, and the State Border Guard Service that are holding the defense line.
Heavy “middle strike” drones will be delivered to corps, which will then distribute them among units that have trained crews and effectively deploy such drones. Thus, each corps is guaranteed to receive strike assets capable of reaching operational depth.
