Ukrainian drones even managed to hit the occupiers inside a pipe
Ukrainian fighters from the 25th Separate Assault Battalion "Lynx" eliminated a Russian soldier who was trying to hide in a drainage pipe, turning his hiding place into a trap with no way out. The operation was carried out using aerial reconnaissance and an FPV drone, which located the enemy even underground, where he was trying to wait out the attack. At least, that is how the elimination of the occupier was described by the 25th Separate Assault Battalion “Lynx.”
The soldiers reported that the occupier apparently decided to use a concrete storm drain pipe as an improvised “bunker,” but this decision proved fatal when Ukrainian drone operators detected his position.
The unit described the incident with irony, noting: “‘Kavabanga’ Ukrainian-style, or why a sewer isn’t a shelter. Spoiler: no. Especially when the eyes of the 25th Separate Assault Battalion are watching from the sky,” emphasizing that modern warfare leaves no safe hiding places for the enemy.
First, aerial reconnaissance detected the movement of a Russian infantryman who had crawled into a pipe, after which an FPV drone was directed at the target and completed the operation, leaving him no chance to remain unnoticed.
The battalion also added: “You can’t hide from a Ukrainian kamikaze drone even underground,” emphasizing that technology and reconnaissance allow for detecting the enemy even in the most unusual hiding places.
