In the Mariupol area, we have established round-the-clock fire control over enemy logistics
Fighters from the 12th Brigade of the Ukrainian National Guard, "Azov," have managed to establish full, continuous, round-the-clock control over the Russian occupiers' logistics routes 160 kilometers from the front line.
This was reported by the brigade’s defense sector liaison officer, Mykyta Puz, during a speech at the New Age Defense Berlin security forum in Germany.
This success was achieved through an effective combination of advanced Western technologies and proprietary developments by Ukrainian researchers.
According to the officer, the modern concept of the front line has changed significantly. Today, the front line is not a place where friendly trenches face enemy ones.
It is a blurred line that can stretch 30 or 40 kilometers wide, featuring a mix of Ukrainian positions and those of Russian occupiers, dugouts, and mines. Heavy equipment cannot enter such territory unnoticed, so it is destroyed even on the approaches.
Given these conditions, the Ukrainian military is redoubling its efforts to maximize the range of its weapons. A striking example is the intensified fire control over the temporarily occupied city of Mariupol.
“The cameras of reconnaissance and strike systems are focused on Mariupol and the occupiers’ military targets. The enemy is using Ukrainian roads in and around the city to move personnel and other military equipment,” Azov previously stated, showing footage from strike drones.
Ukrainian drones are destroying Russian logistics in Crimea
Ukrainian drones have been equipped with navigation similar to the Tomahawk system.
Prior to this, the Ministry of Defense certified and approved the domestic “Volynyaka” unmanned aerial system for use by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Earlier, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine approved the Shablya MK19(M) remotely controlled combat module for use by the military. It is equipped with an MK19 40mm automatic grenade launcher.
