Partisans carry out sabotage in a strategically critical area of Saint Petersburg, Russia

Agents of the partisan movement “Atesh” have successfully carried out a sabotage operation in a district of Saint Petersburg, where numerous key Russian military and security facilities are concentrated.

According to Atesh’s Telegram channel, a technical module of a telecommunication tower near one of these sites was disabled, causing significant communication disruptions.

The incident occurred in an area hosting: JSC “Radio-Electronic Equipment Repair Plant ‘Luch’”, The FSB Institute of Russia, Units and training centers associated with the Russian Navy and the Main Missile and Artillery Directorate.

Nearby are also JSC “Novosibirsk Cartridge Plant” and a branch of the “Kometa” corporation — a scientific and industrial center serving Russia’s defense sector. The concentration of these facilities makes the district a critical component of Russia’s military and security infrastructure.

“Atesh” noted that disruptions in such a hub directly affect data transmission, command, and coordination, even far beyond the front line. “The deep rear is no longer a guarantee of security,” the movement said.

Previously, the Atesh resistance movement reported identifying a key military communications hub (Unit 09920), which handles command transmission from Moscow and coordinates operations of the Russian Black Sea Fleet.
