The Ukrainian Armed Forces have denied Russia's claims that it captured a village in the Sumy region

The claim by Russian propagandists that Khrapivshchyna in the Sumy region has allegedly been captured is untrue. The settlement is located within the area of responsibility of the 47th Separate Mechanized Brigade “Magura.”

Ukrainian military officials emphasized that there has been no breach of defenses in this sector. Soldiers of the 47th Separate Mechanized Brigade continue to carry out combat missions and hold their assigned positions.

“There was no breach of the defenses. Soldiers of the 47th Separate Mechanized Brigade continue to hold their designated lines,” the brigade stated.

The military also urged citizens to view reports from Russian propaganda and enemy information and psychological operations (IPO) with a critical eye.

The 47th Mechanized Brigade emphasizes that Russian claims about the capture of the settlement are an information operation aimed at spreading false information about the situation on the front lines.

The brigade called the report of the alleged capture of the village yet another instance of Russian disinformation on Facebook.

On Friday, September 4, a fire broke out in the Solomyanskyi district of the capital. According to media reports, the cause may have been a suspected strike by a Russian drone on an aircraft at Zhuliany Airport.

Explosions were heard in Kyiv: there are reports of a possible strike on the Nova Poshta terminal.

The Kyiv region received over 33 metric tons of power equipment from Lithuania and Finland.

The Kyiv and Zhytomyr regions have received new shipments of critically important energy equipment from Lithuania. The aid is intended to strengthen the resilience of Ukraine’s power grid and facilitate the rapid restoration of damaged networks.

As a reminder, Serbia will provide Ukraine with a new package of humanitarian aid. It will include support in the areas of medicine and energy.
