Russia deliberately struck a U.S.-owned Coca-Cola plant in the Kyiv region, according to Sibiga
Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga stated that the Russian strike on the Coca-Cola plant in the Kyiv region was a deliberate attack on American business interests.
The foreign minister emphasized that the attack on the plant was not an accidental or isolated incident.
According to Andriy Sibiga, the Russian attack on the Coca-Cola plant is part of a broader Kremlin strategy aimed at harming U.S. economic interests and driving American companies out of international markets.
“The Russian strike on the Coca-Cola plant in the Kyiv region was not an isolated incident. This is yet another deliberate attack on American business interests,” the minister emphasized.
The head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry stressed that “only force will put Moscow in its place.”
In this context, Sibiga once again called on the U.S. House of Representatives to pass the Russia Sanctions Act.
Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported that Russian troops had attacked a Coca-Cola plant in the village of Velyka Dymerka in the Kyiv region with drones.
According to the head of state, this is one of the largest soft drink production facilities in Europe. Zelenskyy emphasized that the Russians could not have been unaware of exactly which facility they were striking.
“Even Coca-Cola is such an enemy to them that they’re burning it down with ‘shahids.’ This is a clear signal from Russia to America,” Zelenskyy stated.
Thus, Ukrainian authorities view the attack on the Coca-Cola plant not only as a strike against Ukraine’s civilian infrastructure but also as a Russian attack on American businesses operating in Ukraine.

On Thursday, September 3, a Russian drone damaged a Coca-Cola production facility in Brovary, Kyiv Oblast. The company confirmed the attack and stated that all employees are safe and none were injured.
On September 3, Russian forces attacked the Kyiv region with new “Geran-5” strike drones. This was yet another air raid alert in the city that day.
