Video: Rescuers released exclusive footage following Russia's attack on Mila
Rescuers from the State Emergency Service (SES) have released exclusive body-camera footage taken in the first minutes following the massive Russian strike on the village of Mila in the Kyiv region on August 28.
The video shows emergency responders making their way to the site of the strike through areas engulfed in flames, thick smoke, and the rubble of destroyed buildings.
Following the Russian attack, the village was rocked by powerful explosions and subsequent detonations.
Despite the high risk to their lives and the threat of secondary explosions, State Emergency Service specialists immediately headed to the most dangerous areas.
The released footage shows emergency responders making their way through fire, smoke, and rubble to reach the site of the strike as quickly as possible.
Rescuers were among the first to enter the dangerous area, where they searched for and evacuated people from the line of fire.
Body camera footage demonstrates the challenging conditions under which emergency responders had to work immediately following the massive Russian attack on the Kyiv region.

In the village of Mila in the Kyiv region, efforts to clear the rubble following the Russian strike are ongoing. According to the latest data, 38 people were killed and another 20 were injured. Four people are still missing.
On August 31, Denis Shtilerman, co-owner and chief designer of Fire Point, publicly clashed with Taras Chmut, head of the “Come Back Alive” Foundation, following the Russian strike on the company’s facility in the village of Mila in the Kyiv region. Shtilerman called Chmut a “scoundrel and a liar” in the wake of the tragedy that occurred after the strike and the subsequent detonation of ammunition.
Earlier, Shtilerman explained how Wildberries and Ozon are linked to Russian banks.
Prior to that, Stilerman shared a video of a Ukrainian missile launch.
As a reminder, the Ukrainian defense company Fire Point announced the launch of its latest anti-ballistic interceptor missile, the FP-7.X, which will form the basis of the promising pan-European anti-aircraft missile system FREYJA.
Fire Point is working on developing its own engine for the FP-5 Flamingo missile.
