The head of state reported this on his official Facebook page, summarizing the tragic consequences of the enemy shelling.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy released an official report on the scale of the enemy’s terror, calling on international partners to immediately strengthen our country’s air defense.
The intensity of airstrikes by Russian occupation forces has reached critical levels in various regions of the country.
In particular, according to the head of state, over the course of a week, the Russians launched more than 3,170 attack drones, over 1,300 guided missiles, and 74 rockets at Ukraine.
A massive amount of lethal weaponry was directed primarily at civilian and critical infrastructure, destroying residential buildings.
The most horrific consequence of the daily massive airstrikes remains the numerous human casualties among the entirely civilian population.
As a result of the shelling over the past week, 52 people were killed and another 346 were injured, including 22 children.
All wounded civilians are currently receiving necessary medical care, and rescue services continue to address the aftermath of the destruction in the affected cities and villages.
The President of Ukraine emphasized that stopping the daily bloodshed is possible only through the systematic strengthening of the missile defense shield.
