Video: Ateş reported a power outage at a factory in Voronezh that manufactures components for Iskander missiles
The “Atesh” guerrilla movement reported a sabotage attack on an electrical substation near the “VZPP-Sborka” plant in Voronezh. According to the group, the plant manufactures components for the Kh-101 and Iskander-K missiles, as well as for the Pantsir-S1 systems.
According to the movement, an “Atesh” agent spent a long time surveying the facility, planning the operation in detail, and identifying security vulnerabilities.
Eventually, he managed to sneak into the electrical substation near the plant, evading security. There, he destroyed the main distribution panel that powered the facility, after which he safely left the city.
“VZPP-Sborka” is one of the key manufacturers of components for Russian military missiles.
The facility produces integrated circuits, power switches, and power supplies for the onboard computers and navigation systems of the Kh-101 missiles, automatic control components and control units for the “Iskander-K,” as well as semiconductors for the radars and fire control systems of the “Pantsir-S1” anti-aircraft missile and gun system.
The strike caused a sharp surge in voltage and a power outage in the plant’s workshops. It took weeks to restore full power to the plant. During this time, delivery schedules for key components for these systems were disrupted, causing delays in the production of the missiles and air defense systems themselves, according to the partisans.
Russia carried out 746 strikes on the Zaporizhzhia region over the past 24 hours.
As a reminder, in the Kyiv region, air defense systems engaged Russian drones.
Earlier, three Ukrainians fighting for Russia were captured in Chasiv Yar.
On September 15, a Russian drone strike was recorded in the Svyatoshynsky district of Kyiv.
In the Solomyanskyi district of the capital, a strike was recorded on the grounds of a garage cooperative.
