Video: The building of the High Anti-Corruption Court was damaged in a Russian attack
On the night of June 15, the building of the High Anti-Corruption Court, located on Beresteisky Avenue in Kyiv, was damaged as a result of a massive attack by Russian occupiers.
The enemy shelling caused the destruction of the facade structures and damage to the interior of the building.
Utility services and court staff have been working at the scene since early morning to address the aftermath of the strike and document the damage.
The blast wave from the impact of a Russian missile or falling drone debris shattered windows in offices and courtrooms.
The court’s administration promptly called in technical staff to clear away the broken glass and temporarily cover the damaged window openings with special film.
At the same time, relevant specialists are conducting a detailed inspection of the entire architectural complex to identify hidden cracks or other threats to the supporting structures.
Despite significant material losses and damage to offices, the state institution has not suspended its operations.
The court’s press service has officially assured citizens and participants in the proceedings that the incident will not affect the scheduled hearing of criminal cases.
All scheduled hearings will begin on time, and the judges and staff are working as usual while adhering to all safety measures during potential air raid alerts.
“On the night of June 15, Kyiv came under a massive attack by missiles and strike drones. As a result of the shelling, the premises of the High Anti-Corruption Court at 41 Beresteisky Avenue were damaged. Windows in the building were shattered, and court staff are currently assessing the total extent of the damage. Cleanup and recovery efforts are ongoing at the site,” the court stated.
