Video: Drones Attacked an Oil Refinery in Kstovo, Nizhny Novgorod Oblast

On the night of July 2, drones attacked an oil refinery in Kstovo, Nizhny Novgorod Oblast, Russia. This facility is one of the key components of Russia’s fuel infrastructure.

 

According to preliminary reports, the oil refinery was hit. A column of smoke is currently visible following the strike.

It should be noted that “Lukoil-Nizhegorodnefteorgsintez” is located in Kstovo. It is the fourth-largest refinery in Russia in terms of capacity and the second-largest in terms of gasoline production.

The plant is also a strategic facility that supplies nearly 30% of the Moscow region’s gasoline consumption and provides fuel for the occupying forces. The facility has a capacity of 17 million metric tons per year.

Ukrainian drones struck eight of the ten largest Russian oil refineries by processing volume, with some facilities being hit multiple times.
