Video: Ukrainian drones set range record with strike on Oil Refinery in Komi Republic
Uktinsky Oil Refinery in Russia’s Komi Republic was hit by long-range drones from the SBU Special Operations Centre “Alpha.”
The strike set a new range record for Ukrainian drones, with the refinery located 1,750 km from Ukraine’s border.
Following the impact, a fire and heavy smoke were reported. Preliminary assessments indicate damage to an atmospheric-vacuum distillation unit and a visbreaking unit, which are responsible for primary oil processing, fraction separation, and the production of fuel oil, gasoline, and diesel.
Explosions were reported in the Russian city of Ukhta, approximately 2,000 km from the Ukrainian border. The Lukoil-Ukhtaneftepererabotka refinery was confirmed as the target.
