Video: In Donetsk region, the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed a new Russian logistics “all-terrain vehicle” for the first time
On the approaches to Pokrovsk in Donetsk region, Ukrainian military forces destroyed a new Russian logistics vehicle of the “all-terrain” type for the first time. A video of the incident was published online.
This was reported by the 7th Rapid Response Corps of the Ukrainian Air Assault Forces on Telegram.
According to the corps, the vehicle is a four-wheel-drive “Ulan-2”, built on the civilian commercial chassis Sobol 4x4. Russia had previously announced the start of “mass” deliveries of these vehicles to the front as early as autumn.
Ukrainian forces reported that recently several such vehicles were detected by drone operators along Russian logistics routes in the area of responsibility of the 7th Rapid Response Corps.
The corps ironically noted that the Russian forces were likely transporting “gifts” for their units for the New Year, but Ukrainian paratroopers intercepted them and destroyed the equipment.
“They say the occupiers were bringing ‘gifts’ for their liberators for the New Year. But our troops got ahead of them and delivered their own — without a return service,” the report said.
