Video: German Leopard 2 thwarts enemy plans to entrench in Hryshyne

Ukrainian tank crews, using a Leopard 2 tank, are effectively disrupting attempts by Russian occupiers to gain a foothold in the village of Hryshyne. This was reported by the 7th Air Assault Corps.

Enemy assault units attempting to carry out a mechanised attack were repelled, allowing an infantry group to temporarily take cover. However, their movements and hiding positions were promptly detected thanks to coordinated action by Ukrainian forces.

In particular, the positions and manoeuvres of the occupiers were identified through close cooperation between the 155th Separate Mechanised Brigade and neighbouring units operating within the area of responsibility of the 7th Rapid Response Corps of the Air Assault Forces. After the coordinates were confirmed, command decided to deploy a Leopard 2 tank crew.

Footage filmed directly from inside the tank shows the German-made vehicle methodically destroying buildings that had become traps for the occupiers. The Leopard 2 crew of the 155th Separate Mechanised Brigade named after Anna of Kyiv left the enemy no chance to entrench in Hryshyne — the remaining assault troops were completely eliminated.

With precise fire, the Leopard 2 crew of the 155th Separate Mechanised Brigade named after Anna of Kyiv destroyed the remaining enemy landing force on the outskirts of Hryshyne.

It is worth noting that the activation of Russian reserves in the area indicates the enemy’s intention to reinforce its positions. Nevertheless, Ukrainian forces continue to respond decisively to any offensive attempts, demonstrating their strategic superiority.
