Video: Drones Attacked the Saratov Oil Refinery and the Wildberries Logistics Complex in Russia

On the night of August 2, drones attacked a number of targets in Russia, including the Saratov Oil Refinery and the Wildberries logistics complex in the Samara Region.

According to the governor of the Saratov region, preliminary reports indicate that there are casualties following the drone attack.

“As a result of the drone attack, civilian infrastructure in Saratov and Engels has been damaged. All emergency services are on the scene. Preliminary reports indicate there are casualties,” the statement said.

After analyzing eyewitness videos, ASTRA reported that the Saratov Oil Refinery, owned by Rosneft, was struck. It is one of Russia’s oldest oil refineries, having processed 4.8 million metric tons of crude oil in 2023. According to the channel, the refinery has been attacked by drones at least 15 times since the start of the full-scale war.

In addition, according to ASTRA, drones struck the Wildberries “Novosemeykino” logistics complex in the Samara region. The complex opened in May 2025. It covers an area of approximately 130,000 square meters, and once fully operational, it is expected to store up to 120 million units of goods.

There were also reports of an attack on the city of Engels, located on the opposite bank of the Volga River from Saratov, where Russia’s strategic air force is based.

This was reported by the ASTRA Telegram channel.

As a reminder, Ukrainian strike drones have begun systematically targeting major logistics centers belonging to Wildberries, Russia’s largest online marketplace. Over the past two weeks, at least 10 of the company’s warehouses have come under attack, resulting in significant losses for both the platform itself and Russian businesses.

About 1,500 sellers on the Russian marketplace Wildberries lost their goods as a result of a fire at a warehouse in the Leningrad Region following an attack by Ukrainian drones. This was stated by the region’s governor, Oleksandr Drozdhenko.
