Video: Ukraine struck Russian targets 1,300 kilometers from the border
On the night of July 26–27, Ukrainian drones attacked targets on Russian territory located up to 1,300 kilometers from the Ukrainian border. Targets in the Rostov region and Udmurtia were struck, including facilities related to the fuel and energy infrastructure and logistics, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported.
Overnight, long-range strikes reached three regions of Russia at once.
- In the Rostov region, an export terminal located approximately 250 kilometers from the front line was struck.
- In the Yaroslavl region, oil facilities were targeted.
- An oil facility was also struck in the Udmurt Republic—1,300 kilometers from Ukraine’s state border.
According to the president, these strikes are part of a long-range operation aimed at reducing Russia’s ability to finance the war.
“With our responses, we are bringing the war back to Russia so that, ultimately, there is a chance for a dignified peace,” Zelenskyy said.
As a reminder, on the night of July 27, Russian forces launched a massive attack on Ukraine, deploying 147 drones of various types. Air defense forces neutralized 123 enemy targets, though some strike drones were confirmed to have hit their targets.
Over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian Armed Forces eliminated 1,590 Russian soldiers. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine released updated data on Russian military losses in the war against Ukraine as of July 27, 2026.
