Video: Zakharova outraged that Russia is supposedly being prevented from establishing peace in Ukraine
Official spokesperson of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, expressed outrage regarding the European Union’s demands on Russia during peace negotiations.
According to her, the EU has prepared a “set of conditions without which there will be no support for peace in Ukraine.”
Zakharova stated that peace, in principle, should be “the goal and guide for any normal people,” and that all parties’ actions “should be guided by it.” At the same time, she hinted at the EU’s allegedly restrictive role in the peace process.
Zakharova added: “Just think about it: in general, normal people should support peace, probably in any case, as a primary goal, a task, as that point to which one should strive, that guide one should look at when planning their steps.”
Recall that Trump issued a warning to the Ukrainian delegation.
Also, the US delegation will hold talks in Geneva on Ukraine and Iran on the same day.
