Ukrainian military personnel have released footage showing the launch of six FP-5 “Flamingo” cruise missiles targeting the 117th Main Missile and Artillery Directorate (GRAU) arsenal in Russia’s Volgograd region.

The strike was carried out against a significant military facility where equipment and ammunition were stored.

The use of FP-5 missiles made it possible to hit the target at long range with high precision, aiming to destroy the enemy’s logistical and material base. The arsenal reportedly plays a key role in supplying Russian military formations in the region.

In the city of Neya, Kostroma region, loud explosions were also reported at the site of the 100th arsenal of the Main Missile and Artillery Directorate (GRAU) of the Russian Ministry of Defense. The blasts continued throughout the night, prompting the evacuation of local residents.

On the night of January 6, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense, 129 Ukrainian drones were intercepted and destroyed over Russian territory. The highest numbers were reportedly shot down over the Bryansk region (29), Belgorod region (13), and Yaroslavl region (13).
