Military officials described the killing of a Russian officer who had been reporting to Putin on Siversk
Ukrainian servicemen carried out a successful special operation, resulting in the elimination of Russian officer Naran Ochir-Goryaev and his battalion commander.
This was reported on air by the head of the command post of the 20th "K-2" Unmanned Systems Brigade, call sign "Ram."
According to the soldier, the enemy officer, a native of Kalmykia, was eliminated during a precision strike on a vehicle at the front line.
As “Ram” reported, Ukrainian intelligence had been closely monitoring Ochir-Goryaev’s movements for a long time.
This Russian serviceman became known after personally reporting to Russian dictator Vladimir Putin in 2025 about the alleged capture of the Ukrainian city of Siversk.
“Our intelligence reports on all his comings and goings. And we planned a special operation to eliminate this enemy of ours. I’ll give you a little more insight: his battalion commander and chief of staff were also in that vehicle. The chief of staff is currently in critical condition, and the battalion commander was killed along with him,” Ram said.
The defenders received precise intelligence regarding the route the Russian officer planned to take along with his unit’s leadership.
The defense forces reacted instantly, deploying modern strike drone systems to engage the moving target.
“The timing was provided by our other assets. MilStrike was patrolling this road, and it just so happened that we took him out,” noted “Ram.”
