Ukraine's war costs amount to about $450 million a day, according to Sibiga

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga stated that one day of full-scale war costs the state approximately $450 million

He made this remark during a discussion at the PISM Strategic Ark conference.

According to Sibiga, due to large-scale hostilities and defense needs, Ukraine’s military expenditures remain colossal even in the fourth year of the war.

He clarified that a significant portion of these funds is covered thanks to support from international partners. This includes both direct budget funding and the supply of weapons, equipment, and ammunition.

Previously, Ukrainian officials have repeatedly emphasized that Western aid is critically important for maintaining the country’s defense capabilities.

The article also notes that, according to estimates, since the start of the full-scale invasion, total war costs could amount to hundreds of billions of dollars.

At the same time, the article separately cites estimates from international intelligence agencies regarding Russia, which indicate that its military spending accounts for a significant portion of the budget and economy, and that part of the army’s funding may be concealed through other budget items.

As a reminder, Ukrainian drones can strike targets in Russia at a distance of up to 2,000 km. The Unmanned Systems Forces report that they destroy over 30,000 Russian troops every month. The main goal is to deter the enemy and strike at its resources.

A high-ranking Pentagon official has for the first time announced an official estimate of U.S. spending on the war in Iran. According to him, the conflict has already cost the United States $25 billion to date.
