Two men killed in attack on Kharkiv region
As a result of Russian shelling in Kharkiv Oblast, two civilians were killed, and infrastructure was damaged, according to Oleg Synehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration.
According to Synehubov, the city of Kharkiv and six other settlements in the region came under attack. In the village of Kapitolivka in the Oskil community, two men aged 52 and 55 were killed.
The occupiers attacked the Shevchenkivskyi district of Kharkiv with a Molniya-type drone and also actively used other weapons.
Over the course of the day, Russian forces launched the following at Kharkiv region:
- Two guided aerial bombs
- Two Geran-2 drones
- Three Lancet drones
- Two Molniya drones
- Fifteen unidentified UAVs
- One FPV drone
Civilian infrastructure was damaged or destroyed as a result of the attacks:
- In the city of Izium – a private house and two cars
- In the village of Nove, Lozova district – elements of railway infrastructure
- In the village of Korobchyne, Chuhuiv district – a private house, garage, and outbuilding
- In Katerynivka, Berestyn district – a private residential house
The transit evacuation point in Lozova received 73 people in one day; 13 remain at the point. Since it opened, 14,185 people have been registered as evacuated.
