Enemy uses remote mining in Sumy region — Regional Military Administration
Russian forces continue employing remote mining tactics in Sumy region, according to the press center of the regional military administration.
They drop explosive devices from drones in small, light-colored bags, which can detonate when pressed or approached.
Residents are urged to be extremely cautious, especially near border settlements.
“Due to recorded incidents of such mining in territories adjacent to Sumy, residents are asked to be particularly vigilant. If you find suspicious objects — do not approach them and immediately notify the police at 102,” the Regional Military Administration statement reads.
Ukrainian Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov announced the launch of drone-strike units with a new doctrine for using UAVs.
Fedorov also explained the appointment of Yelizarov to the Air Forces and revealed the scale of draft evasion.
