According to Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, the injured children included three toddlers aged 3, 5, and 7. “Eleven people injured as a result of the enemy attack on Zaporizhzhia required medical attention. Those with blast injuries were transported to medical facilities in the region,” Fedorov said.
All emergency services are on the scene
Following the shelling, police paramedics, investigative teams, forensic experts, bomb disposal experts, and rescue workers are working at the impact sites. Specialists are documenting the aftermath of the attack and collecting evidence of yet another war crime.
Law enforcement officials also announced the launch of an investigation into violations of the laws and customs of war that resulted in a fatality. The case was opened under Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine—concerning war crimes.
