The SBU announced that it had struck a Russian platform in the Caspian Sea and a number of military facilities
On the night of July 25, long-range drones operated by the Security Service of Ukraine attacked Russian military facilities in Rostov-on-Don and in the Caspian Sea. According to the SBU, the targets included an oil production platform, a missile boat, two ships, an S-400 radar station, and warehouses containing FPV drones.
According to the security service, a 92N6E “Grave Stone” multifunctional radar station and its antenna tower—which are part of the S-400 “Triumph.”
In addition, the SBU announced the destruction of a “Tor-M2” anti-aircraft missile system, a “Pole-21” electronic warfare system, and two warehouses containing FPV drones.
In the Caspian Sea, SBU drones attacked an oil production platform at the “Filanovsky” field. The cargo ships Port Olya 2 and Begey were also targeted; according to the security service, they were used to transport military cargo between Iran and Russia. In addition, a Project 12418 “Molniya” missile boat was struck.
The security service noted that these strikes are a response to Russian attacks on Ukrainian port infrastructure and attempts to block Ukrainian shipping.
The Filanovsky field is considered one of Russia’s key oil projects in the Caspian Sea. Its reserves are estimated at 129 million metric tons of oil and 30 billion cubic meters of gas, and the extracted products were exported via the Caspian Pipeline Consortium.

As a reminder, a Russian port on the Black Sea has halted oil loading operations.
Prior to this, Russia reported a drone attack on the night of July 25. In the city of Engels in the Saratov region, a fire broke out following reports of a drone threat; it likely originated near a military facility. Russian authorities have not officially reported on the cause of the fire or the possible consequences of the attack.
