Russian forces once again attacked DTEK thermal power plants, striking them on the night of February 3.

This was already the ninth massive attack on the company’s thermal power plants since October last year. According to DTEK, since the start of the full-scale invasion Russia has carried out more than 220 attacks on energy infrastructure, resulting in the deaths of 59 employees of energy facilities.

This time, the Russian army used strike drones, ballistic missiles, and cruise missiles to shell the Kyiv region and Kharkiv.
According to Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov, the city was under attack for more than three hours. Preliminary information indicates that numerous residential buildings in Kyiv were damaged, leading to an increased need for emergency assistance.

One person was injured during the nighttime attack by Russian forces on Kyiv.
As a result of massive shelling by Russian troops, the Izium and Balakliia communities in the Kharkiv region lost power supply.
On the night of February 3, Russian occupiers attacked apartment buildings in the Sumy community, striking the Zarichnyi district.
