SBU drones destroyed 70% of the tanks at the Perm oil depot

SBU drones destroyed 70% of the tanks at the Perm oil depot

As a result of the Ukrainian strike on the Perm Linear Production and Dispatch Station, all 50,000-cubic-meter storage tanks were destroyed; each tank contained 314,000 barrels of oil or petroleum products. During two raids by the SBU, approximately 70% of the entire production and dispatch station was destroyed, leading to the burnout of a significant portion of the process pipes due to fuel spills.

This was reported by the Telegram channel Exilenova+ and accompanied by a corresponding satellite image. The station’s operational process has been disabled indefinitely, as one 20,000-cubic-meter tank was partially burned, leaving only three tanks intact. The successful operation by Ukrainian special forces effectively paralyzed the operation of a key enemy fuel infrastructure facility located a significant distance from the border.

The mayor of the Russian city of Perm, Eduard Sosnin, appealed to residents for “patience” and “faith” following a series of drone attacks that took place in the city. As a result of these strikes, fires broke out in Perm at an oil refinery and at facilities belonging to the Transneft company. Following the incidents, heavy smoke was observed in the city, and reports of so-called “oil rain” began to surface.

Residents of Tuapse, Russia, are increasingly complaining about the unbearable living conditions in this frontline city. Once a popular resort, it has turned into an area of environmental disaster and constant danger due to regular explosions at local industrial facilities.
