Enemy attacks Kropyvnytskyi with missiles and drones since morning
An explosion was heard in Kropyvnytskyi during an air raid alert, according to Telegram channels.
The Ukrainian Air Force warned of the take-off of a MiG-31K aircraft, which is capable of carrying Kinzhal missiles. Shortly afterwards, a missile launch towards Kropyvnytskyi was reported.
Public broadcaster Suspilne also reported explosions in the city.
It is additionally known that a group of missiles was heading towards the Kirovohrad region from the Mykolaiv and Dnipropetrovsk regions. A further series of explosions was later heard in the city.
The Air Force subsequently reported another launch of a high-speed target towards Kropyvnytskyi, followed by additional explosions.
Since the morning hours, several explosions have been recorded in Kropyvnytskyi. The city has also been attacked by Russian UAVs.
Meanwhile, on the night of 6 February, Russian forces once again attacked Ukraine, with a drone striking the city of Vilniansk in the Zaporizhzhia region.
