Over the past 24 hours, 10 people were injured as a result of a Russian attack in the Kharkiv region
Over the past 24 hours, Russian troops shelled Kharkiv and 19 other settlements in the region. Ten people were injured in the attacks, including three minors.
This was reported on August 2 by Oleg Synyegubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration. According to him, in Kharkiv, a 74-year-old man, a 13-year-old boy, and an 8-year-old girl suffered acute stress reactions.
In the village of Logachivka, in the Rohan community, two women, aged 75 and 65, experienced acute stress reactions. In the village of Burbulatove, a 17-year-old boy was wounded; in Tsyrkuny, a 39-year-old man; in Zolochiv, a 40-year-old man; and between the villages of Tsupivka and Prudyanka in the Dergachi community—two women aged 74 and 73.
Sinyegubov noted that drones attacked four districts of Kharkiv. In total, Russian forces struck the region with two missiles, three guided aerial bombs, and various types of drones.
In Kharkiv, an apartment building, three warehouse buildings, a gas station, a car repair shop, six vehicles, and a garage cooperative were damaged.
In the Kupiansk district, power lines were damaged; in the Bohodukhiv district, an emergency medical vehicle, a bus, an administrative building, and a warehouse were damaged. In the Izium district, 11 private homes, a warehouse, power lines, a community center, and garages were damaged.
In the Kharkiv district, two gas stations, an educational institution, and private homes were damaged, while in the Lozova district, a medical facility was damaged.
According to the Regional Military Administration, the transit evacuation center in Lozova received 218 people over the past 24 hours. In total, 49,359 evacuees have been registered there since it began operations.

As a reminder, Russian troops carried out 954 strikes on 54 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region over the past day. One person was killed and another was wounded as a result of the shelling.
On the night of August 2, Russian forces attacked Ukraine with 133 strike and decoy drones of various types. Air defense forces neutralized 109 enemy drones, but strikes were recorded at 19 locations.
