Over the past 24 hours, Russia has lost another 1,280 troops in Ukraine, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
Total combat losses of Russian forces from 24 February 2022 to 27 February 2026 in the full-scale war against Ukraine amount to approximately 1,265,130 personnel. Over the past day alone, a further 1,280 occupying troops were eliminated.
The General Staff reported this on Facebook.
According to the General Staff, since the beginning of the invasion Russia has lost:
- 11,706 (+2) tanks
- 24,097 (+6) armoured combat vehicles
- 37,631 (+17) artillery systems
- 1,659 (+0) multiple launch rocket systems
- 1,305 (+0) air defence systems
- 435 (+0) aircraft
- 348 (+0) helicopters
- 148,021 (+883) operational-tactical UAVs
- 4,384 (+37) cruise missiles
- 29 (+0) ships / boats
- 2 (+0) submarines
- 80,180 (+116) vehicles and fuel tankers
- 4,075 (+0) units of special equipment
The General Staff noted that the figures are being clarified.
Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine has been ongoing since 24 February 2022.
Earlier, Ukraine’s Defence Forces repelled 206 combat clashes with Russian troops over the past day. The enemy carried out 54 airstrikes, used 43 missiles and more than 4,000 kamikaze drones, and shelled thousands of positions and settlements. Ukrainian defenders repelled dozens of attacks in key sectors and inflicted significant losses on the enemy.
Ukrainian forces have strengthened their positions near Stepnohirsk in the Zaporizhzhia region. The town has become a strategic point affecting logistics and the security of the Defence Forces.
