Over the past day, Ukraine’s Defence Forces eliminate 740 more occupiers and destroy equipment
Over the past 24 hours, Ukraine’s Defence Forces have neutralised a further 740 Russian invaders. The total personnel losses of the enemy since the start of the full-scale invasion have exceeded 1,256,000.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
As of 18 February 2026, the estimated total combat losses of Russia are as follows:
- Personnel — approximately 1,256,080 (+740)
- Tanks — 11,681 (+3)
- Armoured combat vehicles — 24,051 (+6)
- Artillery systems — 37,363 (+40)
- Air defence systems — 1,302 (+1)
- Operational-tactical UAVs — 137,924 (+1,851)
- Cruise missiles — 4,314 (+26)
- Vehicles and fuel tankers — 78,919 (+194)
- Special equipment — 4,072 (+1)
The figures are being clarified.
Since the beginning of the day and as of the evening of 17 February 2026, 53 combat engagements have been recorded along the entire front line.
Meanwhile, Russian forces have advanced near Platonivka and in Myrnohrad.
Over the past week, the Russian army captured only 36 square kilometres of territory in Ukraine. This is the lowest weekly figure since the beginning of April last year, according to data from the Ukrainian OSINT project DeepState.
