Civil drone purchases in Russia drop fourfold in a year
According to Kommersant, over 11 months this year, Russia completed 982 government purchases of civilian drones totalling 2.6 billion rubles, marking a fourfold decrease compared to previous periods. This indicates a significant reduction in state funding for this sector.

Manufacturers surveyed did not comment on the decline in government drone purchases. However, one company noted that the average contract length has shortened, with long-term contracts becoming rare. Another enterprise cited overall cuts in regional budgets as the main factor behind the downturn.
