Zelenskyy promised a response to Russia's attack on Pechenigi
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy responded to the Russian missile strike on a busy intersection in Pechenigi, Kharkiv Oblast. Ten people were killed in the attack. The head of state showed the aftermath of the shelling and stated that Ukraine will certainly respond to the Russian strike.
“This morning, the Russians launched a brutal strike on a busy intersection in Pechenigi, Kharkiv Oblast—a place where the post office and shops are located, surrounded only by residential buildings. As of now, ten people are known to have been killed. My condolences go out to the families and loved ones of the victims. Many people were injured, and they are receiving all necessary medical care. Rescue workers have already extinguished the fire, and all emergency and response services continue to work at the scene,” Zelenskyy stated on social media.
According to him, “all the circumstances of this tragedy are being investigated.”
“We will definitely respond to this Russian attack. And it is equally important that our partners also complement our just kinetic responses with their own steps to put pressure on Russia and support Ukraine,” Zelenskyy emphasized.
