Zelenskyy announced that the SBU is preparing new operations against Russia
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that the Security Service of Ukraine is preparing new operations against Russia. During a meeting with SBU Director Oleksandr Poklad, the head of state heard a report on the agency’s plans and priorities for August and approved the relevant measures.
What is known about the preparations for new strikes against the aggressor country?
First and foremost, the president noted that the SBU has achieved good results in countering Russian aggression.
“Today I approved new operations,” Zelenskyy emphasized.
For his part, Oleksandr Poklad, who is acting as head of the SBU, reported on the agency’s priorities for August.
Also during the meeting, further steps were discussed to purge the SBU’s internal structure “of those who work for themselves rather than for Ukraine.”
It should be noted that the SBU’s military units are effectively targeting enemy facilities, particularly deep behind enemy lines. For example, on the night of August 1, the Security Service of Ukraine carried out an operation against key Russian military facilities in the Krasnodar Krai.
The head of state wrote about this on his Telegram channel.
