Zelenskyy stated that Russia has missiles capable of launching massive strikes every month
The Russian Federation has a stockpile of missiles sufficient to carry out several massive attacks every month. This was stated by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who noted that Russia is also capable of producing about 120 ballistic missiles each month. This, along with other types of weaponry, allows it to carry out large-scale attacks on a regular basis.
Details of the missile threat
According to the president, Russia’s high rate of ballistic missile production poses a constant danger to Ukrainian cities.
"Russia has the capacity to produce about 120 ballistic missiles every month. And that’s just ballistic missiles. Russia also produces other types of missiles," Zelenskyy emphasized.
The head of state stressed that this factor is currently critical to the country’s security. “It is clear that this is the greatest threat we are currently facing,” he added.
Intensity of Russian strikes
The President also recalled the large-scale combined strikes that Ukraine suffered the day before, in which the enemy deployed hundreds of air attack assets.
"Yesterday, as a result of just one massive attack, Russia killed 23 people in our country, including children. The Russians deployed a large number of drones—over 650 during the night and another 100 or so during the day," Zelenskyy summarized, adding that missiles pose the greatest threat.
This was stated by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in his address to participants of the Ukraine-NATO Council meeting in Kyiv, according to the head of state’s official Telegram channel.
A warhead from an X-101 cruise missile was found in the Holosiivskyi district of Kyiv.
