The Ukrainian Armed Forces are actively counterattacking in the Kharkiv region and holding their defenses in the Donetsk region

The Armed Forces of Ukraine are successfully repelling Russian offensive operations and conducting effective counterattacks on several strategic fronts, significantly weakening the occupiers’ capabilities by disrupting their supply chains.

According to a new analytical report by the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), the enemy is attempting to storm positions stretching from the Sumy region to the Donetsk region and Zaporizhzhia

However, precision strikes by the Ukrainian Defense Forces on ammunition and fuel depots are increasingly limiting the invaders’ operational capabilities.

In the Sumy sector, unsuccessful attempts at Russian infiltration were recorded near the southern outskirts of Sumy.

After detecting sabotage groups, Ukrainian forces delivered a powerful strike on enemy positions near the village of Ryasne.

In the Kharkiv region, the occupiers are attempting to push Ukrainian units back from the state border, seeking to create a so-called “buffer zone” with the Belgorod region in order to resume artillery shelling of Kharkiv.

Active combat operations and counterattacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue in the areas of Vovchansk and near Kupiansk, where Russian forces have been conducting infiltration operations.

The occupying forces are attempting to expand their control in the area of the Oskil River, but Ukrainian defenders are steadfastly holding their lines.

Moreover, the Ukrainian Armed Forces carried out successful counterattacks to the northeast and southeast of Velykyi Burluk and held their positions near the village of Borova.

On the Donetsk sector of the front, the Russian army continues its offensive operations toward Kostiantynivka, Pokrovsk, and Dobropillia, but has not achieved significant advances.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian troops are actively destroying enemy equipment and supply lines using high-precision weapons.

On the southern front, Ukrainian Armed Forces strikes on bridges have hampered the resupply of Russian forces in the Zaporizhzhia region and Crimea, causing a severe shortage of fuel and ammunition.

This is detailed in a new analytical report by the ISW.
