The Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked the Bashneft-Novoyl oil refinery, located 1,400 kilometers from Ukraine
The Ukrainian Armed Forces carried out a successful attack on the Bashneft-Novoyl oil refinery, located in the Russian city of Ufa.
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a fire was reported on the plant’s premises, caused by a direct hit.
The uniqueness of this operation lies in the distance to the target, as the plant is located 1,400 kilometers from Ukraine’s state border.
Bashneft-Novoyl is considered one of Russia’s largest producers of high-quality lubricants, including marine, hydraulic, and motor oils.

Its crude oil processing capacity reaches approximately 7 million tons per year.
This facility is a critically important component of the Russian Federation’s fuel and energy complex, as its products are actively used to meet the needs of the occupying army.
As a reminder, in the Leningrad region, a drone attack was recorded on an industrial zone near a plant that manufactures explosives.
On the night of April 2, a massive fire broke out at an oil refinery in the Russian city of Ufa following a drone attack. According to analysis of photos and videos from local residents, the Bashneft-Novoyl plant, which is part of Rosneft, was hit.
